GRANT APPLICATION

If you have a seriously ill or disadvantaged child that would benefit from the emotional lift that Strike A Chord can provide, we'd love to hear from you. Read on, and then complete the Grant Application.

The gift of music can offer a seriously ill or disadvantaged child comfort, hope and companionship at the very time they need it most. Strike A Chord makes a difference in seriously ill children’s lives through donating instruments and professional music tutoring. For kids who have a dream to play on stage, we offer them the chance to play live with a band, and even record music through our unique Music For Life program.

Strike a Chord helps the families of sick kids too by offering financial support through our Kids Helping Kids program.

Before you continue and submit your application for a grant or assistance, please read the important note below.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

* Grants and funding applications are carefully considered and are either approved or declined at the sole discretion of the Strike A Chord committees in Australia or the USA, depending upon where you live.

* There is no guarantee that a grant or funding will be approved, however every effort is made to assist in some way.

* Grants and funding are considered on their individual merits and many factors are taken into consideration such as urgency, and level of funds available for use by the charity.

* Grants and funding provided is typically as a "one off" basis but in certain circumstances some on going provisions will be considered.

* If you become a beneficiary, we may ask you for some details and a photo that we can use to help further promote the charity and spread the word about how we can help others, and publish a brief profile. Beneficiaries have the right to allow or refuse this. Either way, all private and personal information is kept strictly confidential and all beneficiaries, and where applicable, their parent or legal guardian will be fully consulted before we publish or promote anything relating to the beneficiary.
